Dear Mr. Poynton,
Before Professor Forster left England, I obtain-
ed a Memorandum from him giving me fuller information re-
garding the present conditions in Hongkong University.
I had it in mind to submit a Memorandum to the Universities
China Committee with a view to securing if I could some
portion of the Boxer money which has been allocated to them.
I have embodied his Memorandum and also a part of the one
I sent to you, in an expanded Memo. of which I enclose a
copy in case it may be of interest.
Yours sincerely,
Lugares
